Ecover and Method Are No Longer Cruelty Free!
In December, Ecover and Method became affiliated with SC Johnson, a company that openly admit to testing on animals. They also own Pledge, Duck, and Mr Muscle to name a few. The relationship between the brands is that Ecover and Method are now owned under the parent company of SC Johnson. SC Johnson’s animal testing policy: “We see an important need for toxicological studies that ensure they can be used safely and with minimal impact on the environment. Also, SC Johnson must comply with the stringent legal and regulatory requirements of countries around the world that require, by law, testing for certain products”. I was disappointed to hear that these…

Fair Squared Cruelty Free and Vegan Skincare Review
Last week I was super excited to receive some goodies in the post from a brand called Fair Squared. As a leader of producing ethical cosmetics, Fair Squared is certified by Fairtrade, Natrue, PETA, and the Vegan Society. Straight off the bat, I was impressed with the packaging. Hurraw! Premium Vegan Lip Balms Review | Vegan Skincare
I was really excited to receive a package in the post this week that contained nine lovely lip balms from Hurraw! Balm. Hurraw! is a US-based brand which launched in 2010. The company was launched with the aim of making ‘truly natural, vegan’ balms ‘made from premium raw and organic ingredients.’ Today I’m going to be reviewing each flavour balm I received and sharing my thoughts. I talk mainly about the scents below as all the balms have a similar texture, creamy, long-lasting and very moisturising. Vanilla bean | Classic collection The vanilla bean palm smells like vanilla ice-cream and the texture is creamy and moisturising without feeling greasy. It…
