Why Next Nail Polishes are Underrated
Finding cruelty free makeup on the high street can be hard, mainly because companies use vague language or just elude from the whole topic. That’s why it’s nice when a company uses a logo or issues a statement on their products that you can then go away and research for yourself – because of course you can’t always trust cruelty free labelling!
I’m writing this post because I want to share the wonders of Next’s nail polishes. I fear that cruelty free beauty hunters are missing out on an absolute gem.
Here are a few of the reasons why Next nail polishes are great:
- They are hard wearing, as long as you wait for them to dry completely. If you apply a base coat and a top coat they will stay good for a week!
- They are £4 each or 3 for £8 (£2.66 each – which is not to be sniffed at).
- Each bottle is 14ml which is a fair size and they are cubed shaped which is pretty. Also the lids are different depending on the effect of the polish, e.g. glitter, matte etc.
- There are so many colours and they all have cute names!
- They are easy to apply, I don’t know whether it’s the shape of the lid or that the brush is quite thick but as someone who struggles with painting my nails, these are definitely the easiest to use (Barry M is a close second).
- Next are a member of FRAME which means these products are free from animal testing!
I picked up these double ended nail polishes in pastel recently, would you like to see a review? Leave a comment!
